Hi All, I normally don't watch TV much, but if it's on I watch Golden Girls, even if it's for older women, I like it because it's just so realistic and it's good for a laugh, even if it gets over my head. Plus, it's somethign my mom and sister and I can all watch together. And I consider myself mature enough to handle it? Lol? Anyway. I heard that they're releasing the first season on DVD which is interesting. So yeah. lol. I just thoguth I'd post about it. Also, on a blindie note, it's generally not too visual, which is probably why I don't hate it. This is very strange, today I've posted two topics in Cinema, when I don't even like movies much. Oh well, who cares? Lol...

I used to watch that after a heavy night rehearsing with my friends.....We used to enjoy it to a point a safe harmless comedy when your head is spinning with black metal,is definately a good idea....Did you ever think Dorothty was a man in drag that mystery plauged us for months.

i used to watch that when we had lifetime. I love roseann too. that is my favorite sidcom.
Dorothy or rather BEA ARTHUR has been a familiar voice as it were for shall I say d e c a d e s ... hate giving my age away... Quit the tough-type-lady-like-broad... Yes, she plays the part on "Golden Girls" as basically one of the three elderly-middle-agd-ladies who have a home together, who like takes the lead as it were in Family Matters and "Daughter" of the "Mother" who like has moved in...
radio man and I watch it usually on weekends on one of the canadian channels we have. I always thought that dorathy sounded a bit manly, but what can ya do. It deffinitly is comical though. I miss all of the old sitcoms. They were so much more less dramatic!
Heheh the show just makes me happy and laugh histerically too. Dorothy does sound manly, ish. I think my favorite character os still Sophia, she is so ornery and sarcastic and amusing! But I love them all.
